How to Participate

Participation Guidelines

1. Create Reels:

Highlight offbeat experiences or hidden gems from any place in India.

Focus on themes like Art, Culture, Cuisine, Wildlife, or Unique Stories from India.

Content should be visually appealing, factually accurate, and tell a compelling story.

2. Language:

Regional creators are encouraged to use local languages.

Include captions with translations in Hindi or English.

3. Submit Your Entry:

Fill out the form provided in the bio of the India Hidden Gems Instagram page.

Upload the reel as part of your submission process.

4. Follow and Engage:

Follow @indiahiddengems on Instagram.

Tag @indiahiddengems in your posts and include the relevant theme. Not ned - we want them to engage the content which is posted.

Eligibility Criteria

To ensure fair participation, the following will be evaluated:

1. Content Quality:

High-resolution videos with creative storytelling and impactful visuals.

2. Storytelling:

Content must highlight a unique narrative showcasing the theme.

3. Accuracy:

Content must include detailed, correct information about the showcased gem.

4. Authenticity:

Entries should genuinely reflect offbeat destinations or untold stories, avoiding clichés.

Winning Criteria

Performance-Based:

The reel with the highest views during the contest period wins

This ensures an unbiased selection process based purely on audience engagement.

Evaluation Process

Engagement Metrics: Reel views during the contest period

Content Moderation: India Hidden Gems will screen all submissions for relevance and adherence to contest themes

Terms & Conditions

1. Participants must follow @indiahiddengems on Instagram.

2. Fill out and submit the contest participation form linked in the bio before the deadline.

3. India Hidden Gems reserves the right to repost submitted content on its feed, with credit to the creator in the caption.

4. Participants are encouraged to share their reels on their Instagram stories to boost engagement.

5. Entries must mention the correct details and clearly identify the theme (Art, Culture, Cuisine, Wildlife, or Stories).

6. Reels must adhere to Instagram’s guidelines, and inappropriate content will be disqualified.

7. The participant is allowed for 3 submissions if the location or the information is not identical (we recommend multiple submissions to increase the chances of winning)

8. The participant is allowed to market the content on their profiles once it’s posted

9. The reel content should be in Hindi or English
